Assam Plantation Crops Development Corporation (A.P.C.D.C ), for which Soil Conservation is the parent department, is engaged in growing plantation crops like Rubber, Coffee etc. in Assam. There is good scope to develop business in this area by popularizing cultivation of various plantation crops among small farmers, unemployed youths which will help in increasing economic activities in Rural Assam.
