2. Sustainable production from land by scientific management of land resources.
3. Conservation, Upgradation and Utilization of natural resources in a harmonious and integrated manner.
4. To protect land from depletion of fertility on account of various factors of degradation.
5. To generate income among poor people by way of implementation of  Soil Conservation schemes and improve their standard of living.
